Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
Welcome to our FAQ section, where we address common questions about our counseling services and provide clarity on how we can support you on your journey to healing and growth.
Rates and Costs of private Counseling
I believe that this type of service is a true form of ministry. Most insurance requires a co-payment on counseling of $75-100 after you reach your deductable. We request only $40. Weekends and evenings are $50. As a pastor I will not bill insurance any amount and thus I can keep your conversations absolutely confidential between you and me as your counselor. My belief is the insurance companies and the government are collecting too much information already.
Who do we counsel?
We will work with Families, Individuals, and Youth. We are currently expanding our staff and may in the near future also deal with addiction issues. Currently we want to deal more with one-on-one marriage and family issues and help families going through struggles including personality disorders, dysfunctional family dynamics, grief and bereavement, PTSD, and post-marriage trama.
What to expect from this type of Counseling?
Rick is a licensed compassionate Pastor. Prayer is always a part of good spiritual counseling. Rick will always begin a session with prayer asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom, honesty in conversation, and answers for your struggles. Rick will always give the glory to God for your outcome. He believes that God is the one that makes the difference in someone’s life.
What do I do to start Counseling?
Starting counseling with Christian Counseling with Pastor Rick is simple. Call the contact phone number or go to the website listed in Contact Info and print off the Client Paperwork listed on the website. Just simply fill it out and call for an appointment. No appointment will be conducted until paperwork has been received and reviewed prior to actual date of appointment. Pastor Rick will review all questions, pray, and prepare before your actual appointment. This process can usually be done within a few days of us receiving your completed paperwork.
Can I have evening or weekend appointments?
YES! We want to work within a schedule that works great for you or your family. We do not want to schedule appointments in which may interfere with your work or school as this only further causing stress!
HOWEVER, all appointments, once booked and confirmed, must be made and on time. If someone misses an appointment and has not given a 24-hour notice, no further appointments will be made. We are here to help those who truly want to be helped. Booking an appointment and not showing up only indicates someone who does not take their wellbeing as serious as we do.
